This Mother’s Day and the rest of May I want to highlight The Matchless Wonder of a Mother's Love. Like many mothers today, Mary lived through many joys and pains in her motherhood journey. Although she had other children, the moments from conception to earthly loss of her son Jesus were divine, drastic, and unique. Like Mary, God gives the gift of a child(ren) to every mother (Psalm 127:3). He also allows mothers to experience are sorts of loss. Mary experienced both temporary and permanent loss that many mothers feel on this upcoming Mother’s Day.
